Google Releases Think Quarterly – The Data Issue

NEMA News: New Board Members and Facebook Page

The Board of Governors of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) elected Christopher Curtis, President and CEO of Schneider Electric North America, treasurer of the association at its recent spring meeting. Curtis was also named to the executive committee of the NEMA Board of Governors. Zia Eftekhar, CEO, Philips Lighting, North America, and Michael W. Pessina, President, Office of Product Development, Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., were elected to the board of governors. Read the NEMA press release>

New IDW Customer

Jergens Industrial Supply of Cleveland, OH became an IDEA customer on March 21. New IRD CERICOMX® Customers

As a 1SYNC Data Pool On-Board Solution (OBS) partner, IDEA implements suppliers that subscribe to the 1SYNC data pool using the IRD CERICOMX® Data Synchronization Platform. IDEA was recently assigned 19 suppliers:

These companies will be trained to use IRD CERICOMX®, an online catalog that suppliers use to register product data with the GS1 Registry® and GDSN via the 1SYNC Data Pool. Suppliers also use this solution to publish product data to demand partners including retailers such as Lowe’s and Walmart.
